Lauder is the northern end of our round, and the countryside opens out the moment you leave the high street. The Southern Upland Way passes straight through the town, Lauder Common climbs out behind it, and we cover the villages around it to roughly 15 miles.

Quiet lanes around Oxton, Blainslie and Stow for puppy visits and short walks well away from traffic.
